I was a little skeptical given the price but I’m really impressed, folds down nice and small to fit in a pocket in my bag, sturdy once up and easily adjustable. The built in shutter remote also makes it easy to just focus on recording the swing which has been really important for me to get feedback early in my journey. I’d definitely recommend. The MagSafe option is brilliant too, saves messing around with grips!
Bought the Strivon pod for my wife as a Christmas present and she loves it!!! It is permanently in her golf bag at the range and on the course. New to golf I thought this would help her progress being able to share videos and get feedback. Little did I think it would feed the golfing monster I had created a few months earlier when I bought her her first set of golf clubs, but it has, I am now getting video run downs after every session or round she has played, her PGA pro is getting multiple videos to review and she is now posting videos on Tik Tok getting thousands of views and hundreds of comments which she has now started to update me with as well!!! I am so pleased she is loving it, and at least I don't have to stand behind her now holding the phone trying to hold it steady, video her shot and look where her ball has gone as she shouts at me "did you see that!" Great item well worth it!

Practice is ineffective without analysis of what I am doing. The Strivon tripod is just so quick and easy to set up, especially with the magnet. Even on my uneven grass it is steady. The build of it feels solid and it folds away so neatly it lives in my bag, so I can now have a quick swing check when warming up before a game. Wish I bought it before.
I am a mid-handicap golfer and always looking for ways to improve. Video recordings are essential to fully understand your movements as ‘feel is not real’ as the saying goes. I decided to invest in the Strivon Pod Pro because of its simplicity. It is very easy to transport (fits in golf bag), very easy to set up and very easy to use with the remote control for recording. The Pro version facilitates vey quick attachment of the phone. I have just used the Pod for time on the range this afternoon (video attached) and I am very happy with the investment, it does the job very well. No excuses now not to improve!

Good quality, very sturdy & the adjustable height is great. Really love the MagSafe magnetic phone holder, makes it easy to detach your phone to check how your video came out.
Folds up just right to fit in my golf bag for when I want to take it on the course with me.
I would certainly recommend this if your looking for something to help record your swing, it makes such a difference when your able to look back to see what your doing well & not so well !!
